Weekly Update ( Sep 22 - Sep 27)

The Update:

It is an “A” week. This week is noteworthy for our Town Hall meeting, Thursday Game, and Marching Contest in Wylie.

This Wednesday, we will be participating for the Town Hall meeting being held at Naaman Forest. We will end rehearsal by 5:30 to get ready. We have been asked to stay for the entirety of the meeting and will dismiss at 7:30. Please email Mr. Falls by the end of the day on Monday, Sept 22 with any concerns regarding this adjusted expectation.

We are excited to face off against Garland this week on Thursday.

Our competitive marching season will start next Saturday, Sep 27 with the Wylie Marching Invitational.

Congratulations to our Drumline and special guest Winds on kicking off the contest season this past Saturday at the North Texas Drumline Contest.

Parents, we are requesting help pulling the small trailers for the next couple of stadium rehearsals and games. Please contact Mr. Falls at rfall@garladisd.net for more information

We need two drivers for:

  • Thur, 9/25 Football Game at Williams

    • before 4:00 pm Naaman to Williams

    • after 10:00 pm return to Naaman

  • Sat, 9/27 Contest at Wylie HS

    • before 11:30 am Naaman to Wylie HS

    • after 6:30 or 10:30 pm return to Naaman
