Weekly Update (Aug 10 - Aug 16)
The Update:
Happy First Week of School! It may be the first week of school but our dedicated students have already been hard at work. We hope you have a wonderful first week.
The translation feature is live! We are working to expand the language feature to better serve our NFRB community.
All students, we will perform Monday and Tuesday from 6:45 - 7:15 at the front of the school. Bus riders, as soon as you get to school, grab your instrument and join us. Attire is your Naaman Forest Band shirt. If you have not received one yet, please find Mr. Choi in the morning.
Seniors, the Senior Banner photos will be taken at Williams Stadium on August 22nd at 9:00 AM. You will need to take your uniform and your instrument.
Student pick up procedures:
For on campus rehearsals, games, and contests, students will be picked up from Naaman.
For Stadium rehearsal, students will be picked up from the stadium. There will only be a bus provided to take the students from campus to the stadium.
Rehearsals: The directors are committed stop all instruction at or few minutes before the rehearsal end time. There is a drum major led student dismissal and student pack out responsibilities such as prop transport, instrument transport, and cleaning the rehearsal space. The amount of time it takes will depend on how efficiently they move after rehearsal. We anticipate student release within 30 minutes after the rehearsal end time.
Game day and Contest: Directors will communicate an estimated arrival time before the event. On the day of the event, the directors will communicate through the BANDAPP when we leave and the ETA back to Naaman. We will also communicate pack out responsibilities when we arrive at Naaman.
