The Naaman Forest Percussion Cluster Presents:

A Night of Percussion!

Date: Friday, April 17

Concert Start Time: 7:00pm, Pre-concert music begins in the commons area around 6pm

Location: Naaman Forest High School Competition Gym

About: Join us for an evening featuring all the percussionists from Naaman Forest, Sellers, and Webb! All students will be a part of a featured song for their class and we will end the evening featuring all percussionists on the same song.

Middle School Student Call Time: 5:30

Campus Entry: Door 9, the main doors from the student parking lot.

Parent/Guest Info:

• This concert is FREE!

• After dropping off students by 5:30 for a short rehearsal, feel free to stick around in the common area outside of the gym for “pre-concert” entertainment that includes performances from the Naaman Forest Band and Middle School Drum Club.

• Guests will be able to enter the gym for seating at 6:45.

Student Info:

• Attire:

  • High School Students should wear the standard NFPE attire (Black with Green and Grey accents)

  • Drum Club Participants should wear the Drum Club shirt and khaki pants

  • Middle School Students in advanced bands (Symphonic, Honors, Wind Ensemble) should wear UIL All Black concert attire.

  • Middle School Beginning Percussionists should wear a band shirt and khaki pants

• Supplies Needed

  • Middle School Students need to bring their binder (with music) and their stick bag.

Concert Day Schedule:

• 3:00-3:45 - HIGH SCHOOL ONLY - Setup Gym (Tarp floor, move equipment and setup stage)

• 4:00-5:00 - HIGH SCHOOL ONLY - HS Ensemble Sound Check

• 5:30 - CALL TIME FOR ALL MIDDLE SCHOOL STUDENTS

• 5:30-6:00 - Snoopy All Doopy Rrehearsal with All Performers

• 6:00-6:45 - MIDDLE SCHOOL STUDENTS - Ensemble Sound Check

• 6:35 - Middle School Drum Club Pre-Concert Performance

• 7:00 - 8:30pm - Concert
