Percussion: Week of May 25 - 31 (Drumline Camp)
Congratulations on finishing the 2025-2026 school year and welcome to the 2026-2027 school year.
This is a great time to reflect on a great year while getting excited for what is to come. Please wish Joshua and Rolando good luck today at the State Solo and Ensemble contest. For everyone else, I look forward to seeing you all the rest of the week for our May Drumline Camp.
Please take a moment to review the updates below as it will be the last update until July.
May Drumline Camp, May 25-31
Monday - Memorial Day
Texas State Solo and Ensemble Contest for Rolando and Joshua - All Day
Tuesday, May 26 - Friday, May 29 - May Drumline Camp
Daily from 10:00am - 4:30pm
Lunch will be from 12:00-1 Daily.
Students will need to provide own lunch
Students should not leave campus during camp hours
Students will need to have the following each day:
reusable water bottle (1/2 gallon recommended, students may use the band ice machine)
comfortable athletic clothing, appropriate for being active outdoors.
Students are also encouraged to have a hoodie or lightweight jacket if it is cooler during indoor rehearsals.
Hat and closed toed athletic shoes
Sunscreen for battery members.
REMINDER - New Member Registration is at 3:30pm
Turn in any remaining forms
Place orders for attire/spiritwear
Sign up for summer events (Hawaiian Waters + DCI show)
Pay any activity or apparel fees
Friday, May 29 - Sunday May 31
Hosting Guardians Drum and Bugle Corps May Camp
Optional, this is strictly for your information if anyone wants to stop by and observe this group in rehearsal.

Drumline Performs at Webb MS for opening of EBCon
Student Call Time at Webb MS - 7:00am
Performance from 7:30am - 8:15am
Dismissal by 8:30am
Please reach out to Mr. Collins as soon as possible if you are unavailable. Conflicts are understandable, but please communicate to help in our planning.
July 19 - 20
Naaman will host the Madison Scouts Drum and Bugle Corps.
Band Trip to DCI McKinney Contest from 5:00pm - 10:00pm
July 20 - 24 - Band Camp Week 1/July Drumline Camp
Daily from 9:30am - 4:00pm
Lunch will be from 12:00-1 daily
Students will need to provide their own lunch, students may not leave campus during camp hours.
Students will need all required daily supplies as explained above during the May Camp.
July 27 - 31 - Band Camp Week 2
Daily from 9:00am - 4:00pm
Lunch will be from 12:00pm - 1:00pm
Drumline will operate on the same schedule and follow the same expectations as the entire band.
Hawaiian Waters Outing on Friday, July 31 at 5:00pm
August 3 - 7 - Band Camp Week 3
Daily from 1:00 - 9:00pm
Dinner Break will be from 4:00 - 5:00
Thursday, August 6 - Tentative date for Ranger Roundup, Band will perform
Saturdays in August (1, 8,15, 22, 29) - Drill Camp from 12:00pm - 4:00pm
Rehearsals for all members in band, including front ensemble

Complete the member Google form, Past Due
Join the Band App and our 2026-2027 Band Group
Turn in your registration forms and provide payment for fees/supplies as needed
Want to take an instrument home during summer break? Please let Mr. Collins know during the May drumline camp. Students will need to take the instrument home following rehearsal on Friday, May 29
If taking an instrument home, please plan to transport with case and keep the instrument in it’s cover.
Any instruments taken home will need to be returned by band camp or following the performance on July 16.
