Percussion: Oct 4-17 (Week 9 + Fall Break)
This marching season continues to provide unexpected curveballs. The rain heavily impacted our HOCO activities and contest participation. With that said, our Homecoming game was very memorable, as we hope our combined rehearsal on Thursday was memorable for our future rangers. Thank you for doing so much to make the most of the week and being one of the best parts of our learning community!
This week is all about finishing our show. We have our last sets of drill and we will be implementing our props. The goal is to go into our Fall break with a complete show that we can perform on Saturday and clean before UIL in just 2 weeks! Don’t forget eligibility for UIL Area, the Lewisville Drumline Invitational, and the USBands Southwest Regional performance at AT&T Stadium is determined this week.
Programming Note: This update will cover Week 9 and Fall Break. The next Percussion Update will be on Sunday, October 18.
