Percussion: Week of October 6 - 12 HoCo

Congratulations! In the past week you have become the class champion at 2 contests and were 2nd overall in Carrollton! What incredible growth in only a week’s time.

This week is Homecoming and leads us into our Fall Break. Pay attention to the schedule to make sure we are ready for the big push to UIL!

Cycle 1, Week 9 (A Week), October 6 - 12

• Monday

  • During A1 - Solo day! 4 mallets.

  • After School Rehearsal from 3:30-5:30pm at Naaman Forest

    • Battery+Pit, Plan to rehearse outside

• Tuesday

  • During B5 - Battery will not go outside, focus will be fundamentals, The Bloom and 4 mallet solo.

  • During B7 - Front Ensemble, will load the trailer before going to A lunch

  • Free After School

• Wednesday

  • During A1 - Bloom Run and review stands tunes.

  • After School Rehearsal from 3:30-6:30pm at Naaman

• Thursday

  • During B5 - Battery, focus will be on the Bloom, possibly going outside.

  • During B7 - Front Ensemble, focus will be the Bloom

  • After School Rehearsal from 3:30-6:30 at Naaman

• Friday (A Day)

  • Pep Rally during school in the morning!

  • During A1 - Depending on time available

  • Homecoming Football Game v Lakeview at Williams Stadium from 3:00pm - 10:30pm

• Saturday

  • Royse City Marching Contest

  • Homecoming Dance (students will be able to attend if interested)

• Sunday

  • Free!

Drumline Jersey Payment

Drumline Jerseys arrived in record time this year and we’ve already had two awesome events to show them off. It is time to make plans to pay for our jersey order:

• Due to rising costs the price for jerseys will be $58 for sizes Small - XL and $63 for jerseys that are 2XL-3XL.

• Payments should be provided to the band boosters. Click HERE for details on payments accepted.

  • If you are providing payment digitally (Zelle, Paypal, Cash App), please send Mr. Collins a screenshot of your payment for accurate record keeping.

• You may make multiple payments over time to pay for the jerseys. If not paying in full, please make at least one payment per month until paid in full. Payments are due in full by November 14.
